He's the face of the millennial losers that voted for him. There's some damn fine hard working millennials but there are those that are dumb as **** about the world beyond their smart phones.
World stage sure Trudeau has been well received like the queen but I think the wheels are falling off when he opens his mouth and people realize. I hate scorching a guy. He's our pm and we need to respect that but honestly he doesn't have an original thought in his head. He's like them guys you coffee with that agree with everything you say but eventually you tire of them cause you know they are full of shit because either they deep down disagree or don't know what the **** you're talking about.

I guess I fit in the millennial category but I didn't vote for him. Does dealing with calves at 3 am in blowing snow count as hard working? I do use the phone for notes with the cows as well as a couple of forums like this though.

      Just ribbing you😉

Taking a break from cows due to an unwanted rain delay......

Ha ha no offence intended on hard workers lol. I'm only a year older than being considered a millennial so my hubris can't be contained sometimes.

This forums' demographic fits a unique and narrow profile. Probably not much in common politically with jt supporters.
It bugs me to watch him, but he's probably an intelligent politician. Being a trust fund kid doesnt make by default a poor leader. Leading well and leading in the right direction dont always happen together.
Reminded every time I watch or listen to CBC, that I and people I associate with must be the minority.

Suffered through 2 days of CBC radio this week and wow! JT is untouchable in the ROC.
2 days of raging on about equality for every imaginable human variance. Justin this, Justin that.
Pigs are sentient beings. 6 yr old boys are not being allowed to explore their true gender. All oil is always bad.
On an on they went. Couldnt go 15 mins without mentioning Justin Trudeau. "Our feminist pm." On and on.

Christ, I just want to live out the rest of my days in peace. You think if I shut off the media it'll work????
On a lot less income though, by the way. Easy for leaders to blare on about the middle class when its simply being blended in with the lower class by definition.

I've always found it amusing that we "want more everyday folk in politics instead of politicians. Doctors, firefighters, entrepreneurs." But apparently when that happens, it doesn't extend to teachers? (Whom are very hard working and deserving) Or more often heard, that drama teachers aren't really teachers.

Those are the arguments of sore losers to me, really.

Harper was stagnant and needed to go. Had a different Conservative ran it may have gone differently.

I am a millennial, I'm fairly well educated, open minded and liberal, and even worse, I'm female and therefore only like him becauses he's young (only three years younger than Harper was btw), good looking and has wonderful hair. He appeals to my flighty, unsubstantial side through mass posts of selfies and a large social media presence.

Anyone who feels that this is why and how Trudeau got elected must have serious trouble sleeping at night. If people like those voters are the ones looking after you in your old age, heaven help you. Trudeau's term(s) will be the least of your problems!

Cant really disagree. Ritz and harper destroyed agristability, stole farmers equity out of the cwb and gifted it to the saudi royal family, and did basically **** all to fix transportation issues and didn't increase transparency in the grain business.

Not really a stellar track record in ag. Although getting rid of the cwb was a nice touch I still think there are bigger issues in our grain system in canada.

So were people voting for the leader or the party in the Federal election? The Lib party elite probably got behind the guy at their leadership race they thought could best defeat the Cons, even if it wasn't the best choice as leader. They put him their thinking it was their best chance, then the electorate made him King. He isn't running the country....the Liberal Party is! Some leaders are true leaders and have enough on the ball and surround themselves with the right qualified people to do a good job. Even Trump is out of his element as far as I'm concerned....hard to take that man seiously.

They all seem to lose their appeal as well....after they've been at the wheel too long(Brad is it to late?) .....how the hell did Ralph Klein hang on so long? I guess as long as things are booming or chugging along a chimp could get re-elected.

CBC ****ed Harper. He wouldn't play there reindeer games so they hammered the public with every negative thing they could find. Harper over stayed his welcome but was way more qualified than the offspring of a monkey we have now. We need reality not sunshine and rainbows bullshit talk. Oh ya and quit giving our money away. We need to fix Canada not buy our way into the UN.

Can that statement not be applied to every generation? I know some baby boomers that are not the sharpest knives and really haven't accomplished anything and are just waiting for the day they can get their pension cheques from the government. I have millennial children along with many nieces and nephews that work their asses off to get ahead in life. If they voted for Trudeau that's their choice and the ones I mention above all pay taxes and are good citizens and have earned that right as far as I'm concern to vote for who ever they want.

Now when you look at Harper he couldn't make it as a Reformer/ Alliance so he had to hyjack the Conservative party from that stupid Peter Mackay to even become PM. Harper has no personality at all and therefore was a total disconnect from most millennials. By the way Harper claimed to be an Economists and "they are people who work with numbers but who don't have the personality to be accountants." Pretty well sums up Closet Boy who ran a the national debt up by $150 billion!!

So will Trudeau be any worst that Harper we'll all have to wait and see, all I know is I wish we had Paul Martin back!!

I didn't appreciate Chretien amd Paul Martin when they were in power, then we got , "Slash and Burn Harpo" and now ," Give Away Louis". Can we get back to reality?

Chretien amd Paul Martin were the only ones to attack debt......everyone else, including Harper raised the debt level.
