"He's the face of the millennial losers that voted for him. There's some damn fine hard working millennials but there are those that are dumb as **** about the world beyond their smart phones. "

Can that statement not be applied to every generation? I know some baby boomers that are not the sharpest knives and really haven't accomplished anything and are just waiting for the day they can get their pension cheques from the government. I have millennial children along with many nieces and nephews that work their asses off to get ahead in life. If they voted for Trudeau that's their choice and the ones I mention above all pay taxes and are good citizens and have earned that right as far as I'm concern to vote for who ever they want.

Now when you look at Harper he couldn't make it as a Reformer/ Alliance so he had to hyjack the Conservative party from that stupid Peter Mackay to even become PM. Harper has no personality at all and therefore was a total disconnect from most millennials. By the way Harper claimed to be an Economists and "they are people who work with numbers but who don't have the personality to be accountants." Pretty well sums up Closet Boy who ran a the national debt up by $150 billion!!

So will Trudeau be any worst that Harper we'll all have to wait and see, all I know is I wish we had Paul Martin back!!

I didn't appreciate Chretien amd Paul Martin when they were in power, then we got , "Slash and Burn Harpo" and now ," Give Away Louis". Can we get back to reality?

Chretien amd Paul Martin were the only ones to attack debt......everyone else, including Harper raised the debt level.

Perfecho, it is always interesting how we each choose to remember history to suit our own belief system. I will give you how I remember it. Initially the elder Trudeau created a large federal debt. When Mulroney came to power he attempted to lower federal spending but the debt still grew due to the amount of interest being payed on the debt. Chrétien and Martin then came along and were forced to fight the debt by our debt to GDP ratio. They did this by reducing provincial transfers(downloading to provinces). As for Harper he certainly added to the debt and his total spending went up every year(contrary to what the CBC and other left leaning media tells us). But in the end he balanced the budget, something Justin has no intention of ever doing. My version of history, not saying it is perfect. :-)

              ...

I don't usually get into this sort of discussion, but I for one am glad our government isn't being led by a narcissist with early onset dementia running around the world cozy in up to every nut bar dictator he can. Agree with him or not , our pm is sane, can speak in full sentences, and seems to be studying up on how to deal with the crazines south of the border. Our complaints about our government at least don't involve wondering whether we're going to die on the street with a curable illness.

It could be so much worse. Just sayin'.

Haha. Kato are you serious. Or sarcastic? I mean when did Trudeau speak a complete sentence without um, um, um, uh? Dictator visits? Cuba, China, Hamas, need I go on? JT's hitting them all. Who was a narcissist? Pierre Trudeau for one. Wow. Your analysis needs retooling.

Funny the posters on here coming to the defense of Trump and questioning the French on their voting choice on another thread, complain the loudest about any little hardship on their farm. Could you imagine if they had to live under Trump.

Undoubtedly Trump is the one viewed as an unstable, unpredictable loon in the eyes of the world not Trudeau. Trudeau is getting on just fine as PM and international statesman although obviously not everyone is going to agree with him - that's politics.
