    The power of perennials

No standing water. Can drive on it ground is mellow.

This field was worked to death before and sc****d trying to get rid of dead sloughs.

You can see the run across the road still is wet...

Was this your Timothy? Was there much salinity? Seed anything else on the saline areas?

Yep, that's why I don't complain about my land being saturated. Try convincing the other grain farmers to seed grass though...LOL.

Dandelions make a lovely tea and are good in salads

Perhaps try a niche market field of Dandelions Farma. Market it to new age, back to the land, healthy folk. (I think dandies are high in iron or calcium? Maybe both) Should be easy to grow as long as you have buyers!

Also buy pills of them in health food stores? While everyone else is trying to jump on hemp and MM, you can monopolize dandelions!

            All kidding aside.
There is serious coin to be made for those with heart and desire growing dandy lions ( patience, etc)

Nothing worse than following everyone else.

You don't want to be a lemming??? Lol

We try to do something different or "off the wall" every year just to change things up and break up the monotony. Sometimes they work and sometimes they don't but it usually gets the neighbors talking. Probably best I don't know what they really think of us most of the time......
