If you can wait two more days you may be surprised how much comes through .

Problem if it does make it through, it'll be VERY prone to be cut off with even 25-30km winds due to the leveled surface, and the fines just sitting on top. If it comes through you might need two weeks of showers to keep things settled down so the canola can jump ahead.

I would mark plants of varing depths, and come back in two days to see how the plants are dealing with it. If they are turning yellow, then id reseed.

What ended up happening with your canola biglentil? Did you reseed or did they poke thru.

The buried have mostly shriveled up and died, wind took care of ones that decided to poke out. Wind has been blowing dirt around for days, large areas all sheared off. They could shoot the next apollo film there reminds me of images of the surface of the moon. Reseeding now into dust.

that's sure frustrating , were seeding into absolute f$&King mud here what a mess . scic says you have to keep seeding if you can until June 20 to get the $100/ac too wet to seed , but the dates for most of the crops we want to seed is nearly here . canary seed is June 1 . not sure if they expect us to seed the whole farm to barley that is worthless ????
too bad we couldn't of shared our rain with you
