Problem if it does make it through, it'll be VERY prone to be cut off with even 25-30km winds due to the leveled surface, and the fines just sitting on top. If it comes through you might need two weeks of showers to keep things settled down so the canola can jump ahead.

Ya true , not fun to deal with either way
Guys got canola pounded north of here yesterday with hail . Emergence will be iffy now on some fields
