Could be very interesting for western Canada 🤔

It has been raining most of the afternoon and the water is running again so it is starting to sink in that it might be zero here.

        East central Sask
Our area of RM 279 is near complete and after a stressful spring, I'd say the growing season started today. Finally a half inch rain. Weather seemed right earlier but ground wasn't ready I guess. One week of cold last week stopped 2 weeks previous of 25+ weather in its tracks. Then frost ****ed us stupid guys trying to make a living off nothing but dirt. So bit of reseeding, and bit more of thin crops to come. But all in all, it's a couple days for high fives and I'm sorry's then off to the second battle.
So I'd say average start for this area.

I can't really say what rain looks like I only know that for the last 15 years or so rain can give me just a sick depressed feeling. Back before that there were times when hearing rain on the roof at night was a nice calm feeling but now it is just almost desperation!

We could send you a couple of FEET of subsoil moisture, that would get it BELOW ground again for us. The Quill Lakes have several BILLION gallons if you want to take it, probably PAY you to take their SOIL POISON away!

Is it true that people have lost whole quarters of crop land, gobbled up and now part of the quill lakes or is that just coffee shop stuff. If that's true it is hard to imagine ever recovering that land in your life and if you did would it be sour? Also what a financial loss that would be. I know here the alkali is showing up everywhere even the roads.

Wow where is the water coming from to continuously flow in to cause such epic flooding? It must look like the ocean from the air.
