Remember the flour that was contaminated with ecoli. A source from cfia said it was caused by wildlife meaning deer elk or moose shit. This means some scumbag grain buying outfit sold feed wheat that was contaminated to a lowlife grain miller who then milled it for human consumption and got caught. This is the people we deal with daily just a bunch of crooks. You know who will be blamed it will be farmers because we are selling feed grain to grain companies and getting paid for milling wheat. The news headline will probably read farmers chaeat grain company on wheat sales.

The miller obviously has substandard cleaning equipment....sort of makes you wonder why the consumer and the inspection agencies don't demand better sanitary processes considering the margin they make. ..
It doesn't matter what grade the miller bought ....he is the guy responsible for ensuring quality and that includes cleaning the grain.....
No excuses and there should be a fine and a hard look at their process ....considering it's for human consumption.

Think Ritz should have Modernized Grain Act to include certified mandatory training for grain handlers. We are dealing with a lot more diseases and damaged grain than we used to and he reduced inspection with no replacement. Went backwards not modernized.
