Don't get me started. Bucket always reminds us what port asking prices are....less farm gate price....equals the basis, maybe not exact because.who really knows for sure what the grain was priced at fob.

The only countries to buy by #1 grade are Japan, S. Korea and the States

A March shipment of #1 to Japan was recorded as 10.35/bu by Stats Can CITD

I "tapped out" at $6.75 at the end of Dec. Up until now that was pretty decent. But ya....problems in quality wheat growing countries and quality seekers are nervous? Just goes to show maybe we shouldn't join the race to the bottom of the quality games!

Besides 101...that's quite the basis then!
