    Farm/Machinery shows

Sorry to hog the board this morning.
Any farm machinery shows in august?

And guess you guys will be sorting part way through harvest by then or haying?

I'm based in calagry and have to head north to dawson creek and at a later date south to montana and everything in between.

Weather wise is it logical to do northern dawson creek leg first?

I'm sure every town along the way has good steak???

For sure go north first. By mid august full on blizzard could be going on up there. Don't want to get stranded in a snow bank in the Toyota! Just joking.

Lots of diversity in farming seasons on the prairies. In general having will be wrapping up and won't be much combining going on yet.

You let us know what you think of our steak. Most of us farmers don't like corn fed us beef or Australian grass fed beef. All in what you are used to. Same goes for lamb

Nothing will compete with the pub lunches we had in Australia. We lived on those and tooies three x. Ate two meals a day for 3 months. Felt like I was living like a king.

Harvest will be wrapped up in Montana. Most haying will be done in Alberta. But you might see some harvest action in Southern Alberta on your way to Montana.
