Got anywhere from 1.75" to 3" in the storm last night, here in Southern Alberta.
Needed on dryland but Irrigation has a lot of sloughs now.

No wind damage here so can't complain.

Environment canada radar doesn't seem to want to work on my phone anymore. When I go to it it has the writing overtop of the image in white and that it. Not sure if anyone else having that issue or not. Must be my phone. Yes sf3 we've been wet too. Lots of sub soil moisture but the hurricane winds have dried the top 1 1/2" right out. We need a shower bad also but we're in the wind cycle now. I get what your saying. So in your own words......ahhhhh farming.
Your crop pictures look great. I think you're going to have a better crop than you think. It's just stressful when your looking for moisture.

....three tenths. So happy I almost cried! I know its not much but it's meaningful and hopefully a start of more to come.

Good you received some rain Farmaholic. Looked like we would receive much needed moisture early this morning but now the clouds are breaking up. Hopefully we will get some soon.

Every time radar starts colors, has been dissipating in the last few weeks as it moves North.
Typical, starts WET, tap shuts off, humidity goes to 20% and rain evaporates before it get here.
STILL hate to ask for rain, due to when starts, never knows when to stop!

                      Thanks people.

I'm hoping it's enough to "prime the pump"....

                      Take care.

It just poured here, with a wee bit of hail, out of a pop-up shower. Nearly another quarter inch, albeit it ten minutes but another small victory nonetheless.

                              So grateful.

Tornado today, near Mannville. One week exactly after the Threehills one.

Storm season is gonna be a doozy if this keeps up.
