It should be law that every cent collected from saskatchewan gas tax be applied to road maintenance and or building of highways. It should never go into general revenue.

Oh and Robert when nobody gives a **** in government whether it's ndp pc sask party liberal green party or whatever this is what you get. Roads in Alberta were good under Ralph Klein! Say what you want about him but he seemed to care about the average every day person and what they had to deal with in their everyday life. I'm from sask and love it here but it seems every gov turns into a disgrace after a few years. I'm still for wall but he's in trouble if the ndp can find anyone with an ounce of credibility to run against him. If they can convince roy Romano to run the sask party is history!

Yes when Ralph ran things alberta roads were the envy of the west for sure. And not only the roads.

When you compare the level, quality and amount of maintenance and from the past to present it is an absolute disgrace. The old crew spent the whole summer standing on that hot blacktop sand sealing the cracks with an oil wand and shovel for the sand! Ditches were mowed..... the shoulders earlier in the season and then the whole ****ing right of way before the snow flew(that way the ****ing willows and brush wouldn't take over). Culverts were marked. Large pieces of debris and road kill cleaned up.

Tell me what happened.

Farma That's exactly what I d like to know what s happenned?
Arguing about whose roads are worse pointless except to say some of them are dangerous to drive onand getting worse.
Has the budget all gone for the hub?

Just a thought but the prisons are full and there is lots of young offenders on probation with nothing to do maybe time to bring back the chain gang. It would be a cheap way to fix potholes and these let's could help pay their debt to society.

Deflation is a bastard. We could shrink govt ....... nah. Other then people and labor is there any assets in govt? Just wondering cause Illinois is flat ass broke, I wonder what the employees are gonna do when they paycheck bounces? Finding out there's no pension should really make them jump on cars.
