    Ah i read.

Ah i have contacts in different countries.

Ah i have wheat thats not as good as last few years.

    Ah its late.

    Ah its thinner.

ah headed dried out shit in SD will not come back and give a huge crop.

All the shit wheat in the world is low protein so no switching.

Ah it goes on and on. France is dry etc etc.

    So sell sell sell.

Wheat is up .07 again this morning.

    Have we hit a top.

    No i don't think so.

Canada will have way less acres wheat tomorrow in the stats canada report.

So no i want the 8 thats where it should be with the dollar difference any way.

    So no not selling yet.

The last month has been the biggest upswing in spring wheat in the last 5-6 years. Say you lock in 25% of your crop if it goes up great you still have 75% to sell. If it goes down you got some of the best prices in 5-6 years for 1/4 of your crop.

Your grain buyer honestly doesn't care what price you get but it makes his life easier if you can get a good price for it. He wants your wheat and see's that right now we have the best prices in a long time available so he want's you to at take advantage of it.

Its hard to ignore the price quotes when late fall and mid winter prices are $1.40-1.50 higher than what I sold old crop for a year ago(December)

Is there more upside or downside potential now. Lots can happen yet and I am definitely looking at a smaller crop on our farm than last year. There's only so much lipstick you can put on a pig, when you yourself know its still an old sow!

              $7.53 at Pioneer, 2-13%, profit!
Oh one day agree profit taking by funds, happened in canola and we missed it. I feel prices will be $7-8 for next crop but depends on world supplies/weather going forward.
When farmers SELL prices are pressured down. Oliver, by selling any you are putting the brakes on?
You have to be out of step with majority.
Who knew dry would happen? Sold old crop all winter, it's all RISK in farming.

Appears I have pushed up market by selling. Wheat up 15 cents in overnight trading.

I think I will sell a small amount if it goes over $8 for #2 I think.....if it goes to $10 will still be happy.

What is the highest price you have ever received for wheat? Depending on the short northern US crop, it may break records. JMHO

I'm not selling until I get a gram of gold per bushel.LOL Cad price of a gram of gold today is $52. And to think those lucky enough to be farming in the 70's were getting it.

If I'm not mistaken a gram of gold is going for about $40 US.
Gotta start somewhere I guess. It's a good start. Up two bits overnight

Could u imagine the income tax u would pay if u sold it all for that. Chaching!
