Should we discuss wheat marketing here?

Quite a run up on wheat this week.

My crops are well behind...still hoping for a late rain.

Old crop for guys with it...what are your strategies. ?

New crop strategies?

I am also wondering if taking something out on the 2018 crop would be wise now as well? Would be nice to have a 8 buck contract for September 18 going into seeding next year.

My thinking is that anything over 7.75 gets a lot of wheat acres bought for 2018.

As a side note ....at the current durum price and grading ...those acres are getting shitcanned for next year I am hearing from guys...

No durum here until I forget how shitty marketing it is!

One company I am receiving texts from just jumped their bid for #3 durum but I think its taking too long to react to the potential smaller crop in the northern tier states and Canadian Prairies.... No futures market/price discovery! Hopefully high tides raise all ships.
