We received only a few drops here,just wind and a light show. What a big difference from previous years when it would rain out of very few clouds. This year is actually more normal for us as we would always be looking for rain after seeding until harvest. July would always be hot and dry during haying season. I am not sure how long this crop will hang on with only about an inch of rain since spring. The subsoil moisture will last only so long with the heat and winds we get.
