Apparently we are light brown, but way more than that rainfall, not accurate...plus FULL subsoil from October and snow melt!

Radar shows more RAIN coming from SW.

Is this brown enough for you danny?

How's this for humble wiseguy? Or should I say humiliating?

Obviously one of the worst areas we have.

Surely there's something I should have sprayed on it. ****ing rain!!!!

Sorry for the picture quality and orientation.

Are you lying on the ground taking pictures or just waiting for the vulture to land?

Even with decent rainfall up to the end of June, one cannot grow a crop with 0 moisture in the month of july, accompanied by incessant heat and relentless wind. Was 68* here at 2am and the wind was still blowing. By noon we're at 90 again with a 25-30mph west wind. One cooler day tomorrow then its right back to the heat for this neighborhood. GFS has high temperatures of:
            Tuesday:80
            wed:84
            thurs:91
            fri:88
            sat:80
            sun:89
            (next week) mon:89
            tues:80
            wed:91
            thurs:94
            fri:90
            sat:96
            sun:90
            mon:94

Total precip: 0" in forecast period.
Total precip in last 16 days: 0"

            The vultures are indeed circling.

In the dirty eighties there were open range rules south of us and farmers and their kids spent the dog days on horseback herding their cattle to find available food and water. Come fall, cattle guys followed our combines around baling up harvested straw for feed. It was cruel and unusual punishment, but they saved their herds.
