no need to turn it into some demonic event .

best aid money ever spent .

probably saving several billions in the long run.

kind of a no brainer is it not.

how many billion people do you want on tiny little planet anyway.

maybe the best thing for nations with limited resources, is to put a lid on the demand
    of those resources.

i am sure gormley never thought of that.
    but he does not think

eg. a tiny country like Nigeria that has nothing , that has the population of the united states.
and to gormly , no no they have to have more and more babies
    makes perfect sense john .
then the next day he will have a program about the cost of welfare here for, single mothers with lots of kids.

sorry guys but i would rather get the cat fixed , than feed twenty all next winter.
    and 80 the year after.

sawfly1, I rename you Thomas Malthus. And it is difficult to turn an already demonic event into more of one.

You provide the perfect example and explanation of the demented Liberal mind - kill the babies rather than address the true problem, putting humans and animals on the same level, obfuscate the facts...

Without fail, the cause of the problem in the African countries is poor and corrupt governance. Most of those countries have or had plenty of resources but greedy leaders stole it.

Food supplies are occasionally shortened by drought, but foreign aid supplies are frequently subverted by corrupt leadership to their own benefit, NOT the tummies of the starving., reinforcing my previous statement.

My daughter works as a nurse in one of the poorest countries in Africa - the food problem is exacerbated by unfair land distribution, rooted in simply greedy local governance.

And you are putting humans on the same level as cats? Wow.

What these truths demonstrate is that the only thing you did get correct is that there is no rational brain at work in taking the abortion approach.

So go ahead, stick with the cowardly PC crowd and say that the solution lies in killing the innocent rather than dealing with the guilty, the real problem - crooks and bullies in power.

May God have mercy on your soul.

sawfly1, it's hard to know if you are deliberately misleading your readers or if your problem is one of sheer ignorance.

Do you know ANYTHING about Nigeria?

Did you know that a few minutes research (fact-checking) shows that it is one of ( if not THE) Africa's biggest oil suppliers?

That it has almost 200 million acres of arable land?

That is has an incredible amount of natural resources?

That most of its economic problems are caused by - wait for it - bad government?

sawfly1 again shows that rather than deal with a the real problem Liberals will go after the innocent.

        Bloody cowards.

          Classic Liberal spin.

Problem: An OPEC member Nigeria that is floating on oil and has 200 million acres of arable land is corrupt and lacks leadership.

Liberal Solution: Give millions of $ to Hillary, Bill, Chelsea for their Clinton Foundation to eradicate their excess of children so they can get buy as a 3rd world country.

Sad to see that these type of groups are taken seriously and a portion of our taxes have been diverted to this through our sock boy PM.

OK i admit i i know little about Nigeria,
but have seen some documentaries on it.

at least for the poor it looks like a real hell hole .

i am not killing any babies,
what is the matter with money to a group,
that helps women and families plan the number of
            children they have .

yes corruption , unequal distribution are all part of the problem
and your solution is them having more and more children.

look a China , very strict pop. control . maybe too restrictive .
there used to be starvation from time to time.
now they have average family incomes higher than the Russians.
they could have kept going and had 5 billion by now.

is that what you want ?

yet the same , people like Gormly . are the first to shut the door on the refugees

when tensions boil over and result in War and famine.

The current level of population growth and consumption is 100% unsustainable. At best there is enough oil to sustain this economy for 30 years.

Don't worry folks, rabid conservatives believe the market will solve everything and governments have no role in taking care of the poor, sick, homeless, hungry and those in need of family planning. Because it is all their fault or they just happen to live in a country where corruption exists or you don't like their religion or politics.

For some of you who profess to be good Christians I think god will judge whether you were really a true Christian or just a pretender. Are not Christians supposed to be full of love and compassion for everyone and take care of the poor and needy?

All I see in many posts is ignorance and hate coming from the relatively well off and well fed.

And it's not worth spending on birth control?

Here in North America were are fortunate to be a young civilization with lots of untapped resources, and low population density. As well our govt and et al is stable compared third world despots so far. By that virtue our standard of living is better and for some reason we don't have as many kids per family as the third world. It's simple human nature. Poor people have more kids as its our basic instinct to reproduce on an ingrained assumption some of the offspring won't live past infancy when conditions aren't ideal. One step further it becomes a cultural norm which keep poor people poor. Religious dogmas aside if you spend a little on family planning and birth control that's a way cheaper in the long run than billions on food aid or cleaning up messes like Rwanda.

Let's look at reality Chuck2, successive Canadian governments starting with Jean Chrétien have totally mismanaged the Omar Khadr file. This is one Canadian imprisoned in another country. You expect me to believe that this same incompetent organization that couldn't manage 1 person's affairs to be the solution? More government and regulation is not the solution, it is the problem. Trudeau continues to just piss our hard earned money away!!!

And we all know the Clinton crime family will spend our forced donation wisely..... 🙈

Speaking of over regulation, is the socialist utopia of Venezuela doing well these days or is Justin about to give them a "donation" on behalf of us any day too?
