Frost in two weeks would make this year same as 2002.
Weather is so funny this year wind almost every day. You can count the days with no wind.
For us nothing since last main rain in June.
One Canola, One wheat and One Peas basically our poorest dirt i would say in done by friday this week.
Rest holding on with Dew.
Its a shit year in Western Canada. Ah the hardest place in the world to grow a decent crop.

I almost forgot to post the wheat on lentil stubble. It is headed out mostly 8" high but none taller than a foot.

Farma, those are some rough pics. I took another look at that map posted earlier, and even if your in the moderate brown area, wow there's a big area of sask that'll have similar stands. Sure there'll be areas where it's better, but even those spots we'll likely be hurt and look worst, once you walk into them.
Good or bad crops, I've said since spring we're due for a early frost, the dry conditions, I think amplify the possibilities. Watch out for the northwesterlies. The weather forecast last week was for snow along the Quebec-Labrador border, yes, last week. Guess if the heat stays turned up, the canola will be podded and cured by mid August.
