    Sounds like Montreal's Liberal mayor Denis Coderre who is okay with raw sewage being dumped into St. Lawrence River and also okay with Saudi Arabia oil tankers hauling oil into Montreal daily.

    .......but NOT okay with oil pipelines with western Canadian oil flowing through them.

      At the end of the day would it matter which country dumped the sewage in Niagra? Optics....so it supposedly falls within guidelines, but it still looks real bad. Thank God I live "upstream", or in such a place I don't have to contend with someone else's sewage. Can you imagine the amount of sewage and landfill waste created in some of those metropolitan areas.

      Bend the rules to suit your needs.

        Winnipeg and Fargo treat all there waste and none ends up in the river then the lake and finally Hud Bay. Honest. Only the hog farmers do that.
