Two bits that Weatherspoon announces his entery into the NDP leadership race by the end of this month, now that Wall is stepping away.

Sugar plums must be dancing in the heads of the NDPers, with thoughts of reelecting Notley and defeating the Saskparty, taking over the peons of the 3 western provinces and ALL the Natural Resources within !

    Trudeau could work with that,,,,,,,,,,rrrigghhhtttt

Back to NDP rule where every one leaves that worth something and regina and Saskatoon get all and rest of us sit like peasants.
I agree losing a Guy that did lots of good for Sask. The only thing I didn't understand was all the roadwork around Regina out in the middle of nowhere But hopefully that will get utilized down the road. Give Wall credit for stepping down ahead of time unlike harper did.

I hope Saskatchewan doesnt get stuck with 10 years of NDP idiocy like manitoba did. That was a disaster for our province. Lots of redtape and useless spending on stuff like hydro lines twice as long as they should be.

Devine intervention, remember that phrase? And "Don't say wow in a muck hole." I can't help but smile when I think of that saying everytime we drive by the big dirt movers at Rafferty.

I was a Brad wall supporter ,and know some mistakes were made but I can't believe how quickly we are willing to throw him under the bus. If we have a look at what kind of leadership we have around us provincially and federally I think we should have a little more respect in our past leader. Some tough decisions were made financially to keep deficits in line but that seems to be unimportant.I do believe we were going to share in the downturn of our economy together .Our governments should be run like our farms with some fiscal responsibility, which does not seem to work these days if you want to stay elected.

                    Like!

There were mistakes made and people not held to account. If there was one thing I wished they'd been it would have been more prudent, but they're not gone yet either. And ya I said its easy to govern in a boom as well.

Brad may have had small feet but he'll leave big shoes to fill. I feel sorry for his successors...can they live up to the predecessor?

A wonderful Ambassador for Saskatchewan. The envy of many Provinces, but he was ours.

And I know many will disagree for the sake of disagreement, but honestly ask yourself how much better of a leader could have we had?

                      Omg!!!
Who threw who under the bus???

You're trying to make it sound like he's leaving because a few people don't like what he did. HOLY SHIT. it's so bad the NDP without a f leader were going to win the next election. This bullshit about all of a sudden he s responsible fiscally? Give me a f break who s paying for this fiscal responsibility all of a sudden? Are the oil companies that took the money and ran? No farmers and handicap children etc etc Did we go broke one month after the election? Honestly was that not the biggest betrayal in saskatxhewan history?
Which I hope they change the laws regarding timing of budgets. Now that we have set dates for elections all these clowns are doing is manipulating everything around those dates. Budget dates should coincide with the elections prior and mandatory so that we all know what's what before we vote. Do you people not get that we were all mislead prior to the last election?? There is a reason why people have lost confidence.

If a farmer that was given everything and had 20 bucks a bushel
Canola for years and all of a sudden prices went to normal went broke in a year would you have that person manage your farm? Hahahahaha sounds like it!!

Horse he was the best guy for Sask. if you understand what happened to this province under the NDP we were like living on the East Germany side of the border only thing you could leave and our children did leave and fast as the grade 12 ink dried.

I liked a guy who stands up for his province. Hell roy or Allen didn't thats for sure. But cut him down thats your sunny ways.

                        NDP destroyed sask.

He brought us back to be proud of where we came from.

He warned us it was going to be a tough budget.

But I would have to agree they lied about how bad the deficit was going to be.

And bucket is right too about spending on unnecessary stuff. I'm sure the Rider fans would still attend games in the old stadium. And traffic lights and slower speeds would have contolled the traffic around Regina just fine.

Was much money spent on creating things that generate wealth or just cost money. I've been critical in long past threads accusing them of spending like drunken sailors....hence my wish for prudence.

And they could have really redeemed themselves if the GTH thieves were held accountable. But that would have been an admission of guilt. Had this issue alone been properly dealt with they would have garnered a lot of respect....but I guess there are some things you just don't do in politics.

The next election is far from a given for the SaskParty. They are going to have to gain the repect of the electorate again. What are our options in the Province. 4 political parties of which two are almost non existent and then the other two mainstream. So if you want an alternative. ...its pretty much left wing. Maybe its time for the right to unite. Got to wonder how a seperatist party would do in the polls.
