Chino is trying to divide the majority while we just want to be left alone. I really don't care what goes on outside of Canada. I have zero desire to start a war. Judging what's right and wrong outside of Canada is for the residents of that country to decide. I don't want govt spending my tax dollars outside Canada.

Macdon what happens in the rest world affects Canadians. You can try to live in a bubble and ignore fascism but it can bite you in the ass directly and indirectly.

Based on your idea that Canadians should not spend tax dollars outside of Canada then we would have never participated in the first and second world wars.

These protestors should really find something productive to do, like maybe work-camp. If they had a life, they'd have no time for wearing out their shoes. Media could would just ignore them, it would be better for society, but then what would make news?

I'm not sure if Trump is a fascist. Or, like an editorial I read suggests, is he acting like a CEO?
The change of political method and style over last few years unfortunate but I guess it's what motivates their current society.
Fortunately, I don't have a secret loathing for the US. No love/hate either. Best neighbour we could have under present circumstances. Can't change it anyway. Korea could get messy, but it's not Iraq. It has no oil. And China on it's border.
Too bad economic growth here in Canada doesn't get half as much fretting over.

Trump was finally finally forced into condemning the neo nazi and KKK groups. It took a few days for his advisers to get through to the block head. Imagine in 2017 a President who tolerates if not courts the white supremacists. Another example of why Donald is unfit for the office.

I still don't understand why there is a lack of criticism of Trump on this site and amongst conservatives in general. Even if you believe some of his ideas have merit he is hurting the conservative republican cause in many ways. He is proving to be largely ineffective.

The backlash against Trump style politics will swing the pendulum strongly left in many jurisdictions.

Saudia Arabia is an ally apparently. There was little concern about Middle East oil prior to more available production in North America. Security of supply was the biggest issue at one time. The reality is the trade is set up for heavy western oil to go south and eastern needs are supplied by imports. Unless someone can get a pipeline built to the east and refineries set up for western oil this will continue.
