Half done here also. Peas are done going hard on Wheat. 1 Red 15.0 Pro 11.7 MT. 64lbs/bu. Canola is all swathed and should be ready by the time Wheat is done. If the weather holds should finish up after the long weekend. Need to keep
both combines rolling. I won't say what stuff is yielding but all I can say is much better then expected. Might be able to fly to Hawaii first class this year, sitting across from SKF3. Just kidding. Stay safe everyone!!!

Great for those combining, lots done. Just started swathing first field... count your DRY blessings. Our horrible wet start put us 2 weeks behind. October harvest for sure. Should start raining when we can combine.Click image for larger version

Finished peas yielded 52 bpa. Seed is a little small but still graded #2, feel very fortunate. Started on some swathed feed barley tonight. Wheat for seed is swathed. Rest of wheat finished pre-harvest today. Have not started swathing canola yet but getting close probably Thursday or Friday. Standing barley still a week away.

Some of our argentine still has flowers. One pea field done and one canola field swathed and that's it in this area. I doubt we'll thresh anything till October. At least the heat is drying our second cut nicely which is coming down now. Earliest we've ever cut it too.

Peas done nearly a month ago, less than half of potential they had mid june.
Lentils done beginning of August, pleased with yield.
Mustard done beginning of August, less than half of potential.
wheat over half done. Its like the old Clint Eastwood movie the Good, the Bad, and the UGLY. Very small piece ran low 30s with decent stand. Most running low 20s, some running high teens. Only checked one sample for test weight so far and it was 59lb. Looks like rice, so I'm amazed it's weighing what it is. Most of it is being cut with the reel on the deck and table bouncing off the rocks...
Soy will be horrid. some places burnt out a month ago with no pods. Some have a few pods but very small seed.

Hoping to get cost of production back on most acres... living expenses? not a chance.

They think it's a small area.
