Hate to say it again, but Harper dismantled everything, washed his hands of farmers, farm programs, government controls, everything he could dump. Back long before any of our times, farmers got so pizzed at getting nothing for their grain that the Wheat Pool was founded. In those days farmers had very little but still they pulled it off. Guess we aren't so pizzed yet.

In a wide scale drought like we have seen this year, should government and media be sitting back being mute? I haven't heard a boo out of our "Agriculture Minister", do we have one?

Not ever in history did we see no response to farmer's plight. There would have been hay hauling subsidies, water development programs, a show of support for farmers, even if only token. These big shots blew it all on carbon capture, overpasses, stadiums, hubs and now not a boo. There only response - rob crop insurance! Agriculture, our back bone industry was booted to the curb.

Let's build it up again! I heard something about, "The World Without Canada" ?

There's my rant for the day.

Sure I like the viterra app....it's quick and easy but why doesn't g3 post their cash bids on their website tab....

            PH sends a daily. ...

            Cargill??????

And others when you hear the name you should be able to get an idea without subscribing....

Free info for them every week in the form of a radio provincial report but SFA from their closely guarded pricing formulas. ...stupid.

There are days I don't need or want to talk to a rep about prices just a quick review of locals to know where things are trending.

Like sumdum says were just not pissed off enough yet. Sask pool was a good idea but then it got top heavy and was just like the other grain stealer companies. History repeats itself if you don't learn from past mistakes you are doomed to repeat them.

Daily texts here from Cargill, RP, Viterra, Paterson and Seedex. Bunge Alerts when applicable.

It's really easy to haul durum south. No need to bend over like most of you say you do. Methinks you like the position.

Are you hauling to the states yourself Braveheart? Or are you having it done by a custom hauling company?
