Why can you easily get a cash price on an American elevator website and most don't post their cash bids on Canada. ?

no published country gran prices, no publish port basis, no govt reports on weekly sales volumes, and values, Stat Can threatens farmers if we don't tell them our seeded acreage, production and grain inventories.

          the Canadian way.

I am weak on freight costs but, for $2.00+ a bushel is it worthwhile to send some uniform bin samples and possibly deliver stateside?
What is the downside if you follow through with good product?
The upside I see is you Add a little profit , earn a new customer and learn about selling stateside.
              It is worth your time?

Sf3 ...as much as I enjoy your weekly updates....it seems there is no reciprocal information back from the industry that reads these comments. ...nor is there any value in weekly crop reports from provincial ag departments when the industry provides nothing...

There has been a loaded train sitting at a local for two weeks....why?

At another head office won't tell them what to put in the cars been there for a week.....

The system is backing up and the excuses are not acceptable .....

But please Mr farmer tell us everything down to the color of every ****ing kernel. ....

Stop complaining. Harper gave you marketing freedom. Now bend over and enjoy it!

This isn't what I asked for ....I wanted a transparent market with the same reports the US farmer has....

My MP ignored it and the MLAs don't understand SFA....

on a different topic ...I call the provincial ag minister office occasionally to see what they are doing about irrigation.....nothing they answer and yet CBC reports differently....why does the government lie to a direct question from a life long Saskatchewan resident?
