    In 1900 Wilfred Haultain tried to have this province admitted into confederation. Laurier turned down the request 3 times - a threat to confederation.The province spanned from the west Manitoba border to the Pacific ocean. Just a bit of trivia for you to think about as you bounce along today.

      As you think about it.....remember it might have been better if they wouldn't have let us in.....wouldn't have been stifled by eastern interests for 100 years and now a return to that with this second generation ****head. ....

          Wonder if the USA was approached? Wow one huge province, all the resources and a sea port!
