All this assumes that if guns were illegal the act would not of occurred. Thats a stretch. Did the strict French gun laws stop the perps in the Charlie Hebdoe massacre? Would banning pressure cookers have prevented the Boston event? If there is a will there is a way, criminals do not follow the rules by their very nature. But for firearms the fellow might have resorted to an attack similar to Belgiums delivery truck rampage killing over 80. Or since this guy had a pilots license he could of crashed a plane full of tanerite into the concert.

If you ask me the whole thing stinks of a planted perpetrator. Make it look like a suicide and off the real perps go. A 60 something wealthy retired accountant that enjoys mexican food, country music and gambling just does not fit the mould at all. But fits the bill of a good patsy.

More children are shot by accident or suicide in US annually than all mass shootings combined. (My guess but pretty sure)
And yet the most basic (much simpler than here) of safe storage requirements cannot be legislated. Common sense cannot be legislated anyway. It is their problem not ours. A price they live with.

and yes you can kill people with other things,
but 300 million guns in the USA net murder rates 10 times higher than countries
with out them.

have not heard the usual gun lobby response , that everyone should have a gun on their person .
and it would have prevented it .
can you imagine , how much worse it would have been .


first person that fired at anything , would have been thought the shooter by others and shot.
and the cycle would start.
