The foxes clean up any birds we have around here. They come out of the creek and come right up to the farm house and chicken coup and the birds are gone in a flash.

Thanksgiving should be after remembrance day. (Just a small time 1.5 man operation running old break down prone equipment spread over a 33 mile round trip being bitter. Better than last year though) happy turkey day everyone

Thanksgiving

We celebrated Thankgiving this year on Monday with my son in law , daughter. Son and daughter in law and assorted grandkids. Hadn't seen my daughter and son in law and there kids in months so it was great to relax and have a couple whiskey straights and forget about farming. We finished up the oilseeds and harvest on Sunday.Never seen a harvest as dragged out and crops slow to ripen since 1974. Ah yes --- next year!
