I for one have always despised the federal government's policies that are driven by Ontario and Quebec. What is interesting as much as I despise Quebec they are much smarter than us in the west. Quebec collects all its own taxes, has its own police force. They have set it up so that if they separate they are ready to go. In the west we let Ottawa control this. Am I fan of western separation, absolutely, do I think the west is ready? No. Why is it that every time a Trudeau is in power regional tensions approach a breaking point? Under Harper there wasn't talk of separation anywhere in Canada, under Justin Trudeau we are all pissed off. Just a thought.

I said we had min to no rain this summer check the weather stations out it will show we went 45 plus days with no rain yea it got stressful but probably you don't farm so what would you know about growing a crop.

We were over wet as i stated year in year out some said it can't be that bad others had it worse well we were right up their with the worst areas. Guess what roots grew down and the three main rains were perfect timing.
Now you say I'm full of shit because the crop turned out good.

I have a 1st cousin living in Minnesota who had twin babies 2016, they had plenty of insurance but still had to pay a deductible of $10000.00 USA. She was out of the hospital in one day. She had maternity leave of only six weeks and had to be back at work. Again you blow a lot of smoke with no substance to back up your bullshit statement up above!

I dont know, 15,000 per acre for 180 bu corn ground corn is 3.60 right now. I think i will stay in canada thanks. No doubt the US farm is heavily subsidized but i don't like those economics. I think i will wait it out here for 2 years lol JT will be a like a hazy memory form a heavily booze fueled night. terrible hangover but we will get over it.

I agree Sask we pay for all those things but they are a choice. If you are in hard times you don't drink smoke or drive around to get by. But if you get sick and are in hard times in the USA you die. Plain and simple.
Are there problems with our health care absolutely. But sill a better option for those less fortunate. If you have the money go to the US for treatment likely is better if you have the money.

Forage. Tell us your spin on how equalization is calculated? I want to know once and for all. I m like most people when I hear the billions going to
Quebec I m so pissed but how is that formula determined I want to know are our local provinces being stupid in letting that income go?
And then there is the second question should there be equalization at all? We ve used it here when grain and oil were both down.
