How quickly people forget Harper's waste

    https://www.nationalobserver.com/2015/10/16/opinion/nine-stupid-things-harper-government-spent-tax-dollars

    1. The fake lake

The Harper government has long been in hot water for building a $2-million tourism pavilion at the 2010 G8/G20 summit media centre in Toronto, which infamously included a ‘fake lake’ that simulates Ontario’s cottage country. The Conservatives spent a record $1.1 billion hosting the events, including $160 million in hospitality, food, security, and infrastructure bills.

The expenditures were labelled “obscene,” “unprecedented,” and a “poor example” of government spending.

Then-Liberal leader Michael Ignatieff criticized the prime minister in the House of Commons: “Canadians wanted leadership, and all they got was a fake lake."

Harper spent 750 million on ads that promoted projects and programs.Harper never really did a whole lot while in power and if he did he used public money to brag about it.

          SK3

Hey numb nutts, Harper promised to lower the small business tax from 10.5% to 9% but never delivered. CBC just broadcasted that the Trudeau government is dropping it to 9%. So I guess he's at least one up on the Reformer/Alliance/Con Harper . Pull your head out of ass, or should I say Brad's

Forage, if you read this morning's article in the financial post on the lowering of corporate tax rate to 9%, you would see that Harper had legislation in place to lower the small business rate to 9%. The Liberal's passed new legislation in 2016 to freeze the rate at 10.5%. The only reason they are lowering to 9% now is to try buy our silence while they make other changes and because they are sagging in the opinion polls.

Harper left Canada in a huge social deficit.Cost Canada money to get on track.Last 4 years Harper was in power he was only leading the conservative party and not canada. He lived in a bubble just raising money to get reelected.Lived in his own world and did not realize how much of a minority his views had become.

                What's a social deficit?

Is that what we are seeing now with redistribution of the existing funds plus the $29 billion+ with no sign of any wealth creation?

Or are government handouts considered wealth creation?
