Depends on the area, how it's used and the type of unit but yes it will blow some dirt on some guys in some areas .

I can see the dirt blowing over my yard at about 100-150ft. Cappon site for weather network says sustained winds of 78km gusting to 110.

Free flights to Hudson Bay all you need is a kite. Ever see geese fly in reverse?

It is not a non event here. Started blowing this afternoon. Standing canola whipping around unbelievably. At least it rained late afternoon, so the pods will be a bit less brittle. Still gusting enough to be scary. And we are just past the northern edge of the wind warning. Two trucks tipped over on hwy 2 north of Red Deer, that doesn't happen around here, supposed to be a southern AB thing.

Any empty bins still standing, but suspect a lot of trees are not.

Only lost a few swaths here thankfully. Almost lost a tarp with 2 men. God looks after fools.
Tenth of rain didnt need. At least power back on.

Heard of two train derails. One north of Trochu with about 50 cars blown over and one at Wainwright where it blew off the trestle bridge.
