    I have an issue with these stories that complain about weak gluten wheat. No details. Where was it sourced? What grade? Did they buy the cheapest stuff someone would sell them? Did they ever think growing conditions were a factor? There have been some poor harvests the last 7 years or so somewhere or everywhere on the prairies.
    It will be interesting to see the results from the split in HRSW and CNHR.

    Maybe they should have got their wheat from the States?

      Canada doesn't need more wheat classes....the system isn't set up for it....

        Wheat breeders go for yield yield yield not quality.

        Not disease resistance same here in oz.

        We cant even sell wheat to Indonesia our nearest neighbour "to expensive" but they buy a small amount to keep us happy and blend it with black sea wheat to get milling specs up.

        way of the world nothing to with open market single desk etc, black sea is the big kahuna in the wheat market. And if they get there infrastructure and ports up to speed look out.

        Not being a doomsdayer just stating fact.

        India could well be similar some time soon.
