Although reliable power will be on standby as windmills will only produce power a fraction of the time.
But yes if the Ontario experiment has taught us anything power rates will go through the roof. 🙈

Had this happen with gas meter and fought with sask energy for three years because my energy bill tripled. They would come out and read meter and say it was good. I finally gave up and one year they read meter and realized I hadn't used any gas that year so they quickly changed meter and my bills went back to one third of what I was paying. Funny how it changed when the broken meter was working in my favor.

I was thinking the same thing, a short to ground. We had that years ago, spun the meter like crazy, had to repair on our own, NOT a Saskpower issue. good luck. check all entrance boxes, disconnect one at a time.

Faulty pressure switch on a well can spin the meter too - constantly switching on and off. We had that experience once.

you would think with any discerancy like that , the first thing sask power would do would be to change the meter
