So climate barbie likes to use the derogatory smear "deniers" but objects to the usage of her well-earned moniker. Tears into a Rebel reporter for using it and demands that he quits if he wants an answer to his question.

So much wrong with her outburst and demand - cannot tolerate honesty, wants to control the media and engages a double standard in not allowing name-calling by others but routinely does it herself as a Minister in our Parliament!.

Climate Barbie says this: '“The reason I’m asking you not to do this is because I have two daughters. There are lots of girls that want to get into politics and it is completely unacceptable that you do this,” she said.'

Really? Perhaps climate barbie should understand that by speaking disparagingly of scientists and others who hold that climate change is independent of human activity, she is discouraging a whole generation of young people from entering the science fields because they can expect to be humiliated if they show any independent or critical thinking ability.

And guess what? The whole scientific principle is built on the necessity of unbiased thinking.

So much for climate barbie's protest being valid.

Do u really think they actually purchased five cars that only Bill Morneau could afford to conduct "emissions studies "???
Why would you test the Tesla which was around 125 for emission studies when it is an electric car?
Why couldn't they rent or lease the Porsch,Mercedes, Lexus, etc to do the required test instead of keeping it for a year and a half?
Why doesn't the government simply just use the FREE auto manufacturers third party testing results or the EPA results instead of conducting another test in Canada?

I believe we are about to find out that there was another abuse of tax payers dollars by our climate alarmist minister.

The Paris climate meeting which she took an entourage of over 300 people for a big boozefest wasn't a big enough waste already?

Environment Minister Catherine McKenna pounced on a Rebel Media reporter at the closing news conference of the environment ministers' meeting in Vancouver on Friday demanding his organization stop calling her a "climate Barbie."

The exchange began when Rebel Media's B.C. bureau chief Christopher Wilson asked the minister what she thought the role was for hydro electricity in the province.

"So you're the Rebel Media that happens to call me climate Barbie, I certainly hope that you will no longer use that hashtag," McKenna said.

Wilson responded saying that he did not use that term personally, adding that he did not have editorial control over what Rebel Media decides to publish.

"Me personally yes, but I don't have control over others," Wilson said.

From there it descended into a bitter exchange — with Wilson accusing the minister of banning Rebel reporters from a climate conference, and the minister bringing her daughters into the picture.

"The reason I am asking you not to do this is because I have two daughters," McKenna said. "There are lots of girls that want to get into politics and it is completely unacceptable that you do this."

Rebel Media, and Wilson, have used the term "climate Barbie" to refer to the environment minister for some time, on the outlet's website, and on twitter.

Whatever people think about being called climate barbie.....its important to remember that McKenna is another spoiled person that's in over her head.....she seems to lack critical thinking skills as a minister .....good she studies the talking points...

See as a Conservative I gave JT a Good 6 months to show us what he could do. Hell I Voted in the past for Ralph so I truly gave him a chance. Then the First years disasters started to happen and the media still loved him. Now were into year two and reality is setting in A Idiot Is running the country and His ministers have no Clue what is going on.

As for Ralph his true colours started to show and Many in Wascana realized Ralph was done and became a Yes man. No Mam Yes. He will retire and sad part in the beginning he actually cared about Saskatchewan and Regina.
