If Ya'll want a glimps of Ag in Argentina - Their Ag Kijiji

    AgRoads ( http://agroads.com.ar

It's the Argentine version of Kijiji - machinery, seed, fertilizer, parts, land for sale and rent, it's all on there.

If you go to translate.google.com, then type in the agroads.com.ar URL, you can translate it very well to English...

    u$s means US funds.
Just a $ means Argentine Pesos, so divide by 14 to get CAD.

They have a barter economy down there, so often you can buy land, equipment, inputs and pay directly with commodities.

Terms like 180+ means it's due 180 days from the day you pick it up... common for crop inputs.

This is the real estate portion of the website... /There's actually quite a few listings on there for "undeveloped" land... you have to clear bush and pick rocks on it to turn it into ag land. Can be had for a few hundred an acre.

The closer you get to Buenos Aires the higher the land values...

Up until a few years ago they did not use any fertilizer... They are learning about modern farming practices... If they ever use NPKS and micros like we do, look out...

And they are starting to... wheat yields in excess of 120 bpa are being reported... as well as beans in the upper 60s and corn north of 275 on well managed fields.
