Price of gas is at same price when oil was double what it is currently.

Ya we can't afford to pay more royalties. Bullshit. This is where the oil cos are getting a deserved bad rap. That stupid price is causing everything to be much higher than it should be.

There is something wrong with the way inflation is being calculated because can you tell me other than grain what can you buy cheaper one year to the next???

yes, they have been for some time now and unfortunately with the Provinces and the Feds taking so much at the pumps they are not about to do anything about it. They are a huge part of the problem not the solution. With the reserves we have and should have these market corrections should be ignored and we should have a made in Canada price as some other nations have tried to avoid this kind of price gouging which is what it is. We also need to have a few more refineries in Canada given that the neighbors to the south have lost their sense of right and wrong some time ago.
