It's kinda hard to take him serious when it appears he can "turn it on" at what appears to be at will. If he is such a champion of the down trodden, has he done anything in his private life, and spent his own trust fund money, to aid those he so openly weeps for now as PM? Just(in) asking! Grass we all agree some of this is for the Right reasons and yes lives were ruined but every time he crys and his fake tears wreck the whole thing, it's sickening.

What happens in the states eventually happens here. The pendulum will swing back with people tired of a dishrag for a pm to a foil. Can’t we just have decent guys who don’t need to personify Trump or Trudeau? I and many don’t care for these far extremes. Never saw Chrétien or Mulroney put on big cry shows or bombard media with tirades. Even old Trudeau himself sure as hell didn’t bawl like a @)&?! For the sake of humanity I ****ing hope people bone up after a series of incompetent leaders and not let pomp and flair be the only deciding factors for being elected.

That is the trouble with setting precedence, where does it end. Your global warming researchers comment may be accurate. When the world moves on with real science, will all the researchers who were called deniers, publicly ridiculed and threatened, denied jobs or advancement due to their "opinions" be compensated for the pain and suffering, and financial damage? Is it any different?

Irony will be if a competent (assuming there is such a thing)white male liberal backbencher, claims discrimination, since the cabinet positions were all filled based on openly racist/sexist ideologies. Could Trudeau possibly deny them due compensation based on precedent ?
