Been hearing some heavy rains on the west coast causing delays. Likely not 100% of the problem but probably not helping.

Goes to prove a point that on farm storage doesn't get the grain in position any quicker...
On farm storage is at 70 million tonnes and the commercial system barely a tenth of that....
Infrastructure has to ramped up commercially and at the port.....
Otherwise keep looking for excuses. ...
They could build a large facility just inland in BC and then run shuttles when the weather is shitty. ...it would get grain off the prairies and in better position....
And then dedicate loading facilities to commodity not company....the grain cos can even their stocks on paper.....

Both port capacity and elevator storage are being overbuilt.
G3's new port plus all the new Grain Corp and G3 elevators will create a over supply of storage in Canada.
Especially with us crushing as much canola as we have been in the last few years.
Hint that's good for farmers.
Will likely see more railcars just to keep up demand at port. Will still have issues but more cars and more port space should help.

This was for the month of Oct, so CP is moving grain but that does mean there isn't congestion.
