It does not say there is cooling. In fact it does not say there is no global warming. Rather the study concludes there has been no acceleration in global warming. In other words this one study found there is warming happening but the rate of warming has not accelerated in the last 23 years.

And I counter your study with the one just out of the University of Alaska and China that found there is little temperature data from the artic regions because of a lack of observations and data. These researchers collected actual temperature readings from the artic. With this additional data found warming has continued at a much faster rate than what previous studies have found. Which is to be expected since the impact of global warming is greater in the artic than in mid latitudes. I took the time to read article you posted. Today a scientist on CBC was trying to explain how we came from the glacial age to today. Admitted that world has been warming since ice age. He also alluded to the earth orbital changes that warmed the north. He sounded very unsure of himself.

As it stands we are still warming from the last ice age so there is no reason to panic as this is naturally occurring and there is no need to tax ourselves into the poorhouse because of it. Basically it calls into question satellite temperature data. The findings of this study was global warming is actually 30% higher than indicated by traditional satellite data. I do have to admit it has been reported that there were 58 scientific papers published in 2017 claiming global warming is a myth. Or were there? Thanks for pointing out the vital word acceleration. However, according to all of the models, there was supposed to be acceleration during this period. Which is why the models are getting progressively further from the reality. In the meantime, lets just be grateful it is still warming, however modest it may be, still preferable to the alternative.
