Dakota Weather Consultants Blog for Dec 4, 2017

    Good Afternoon,

Its been awhile, but we are back with another great blog entry and we will try to keep this blog updated more often than not.

Today's Big news is the Rapid moving winter storm that is pushing across the Plains from the Dakota's into Minnesota and northward into parts of Canada. Right now snow totals are going to be widespread 1-3in totals with higher amounts from Northeast SD, Northwest MN totals could be closer to 6inches.

Behind this storm the next storm to push across the Pacific Northwest will be arriving into Western CAN and the Northwest US with coastal rains and heavy mountain snows, this storm will make its way towards the Plains later in the week.

    Have a good day,
    Meteorologist Joshua Kelly

Sorry, for the late reply, but yes as the strong Arctic High is starting its push southward, looking at latest trends for it to bring a Freeze very close to the Central Florida region, should remain just north of the Orange Groves.

Also watching another surge around the 9-12th of January that will be a tad bit weaker than this but still pushing a 1046mb high out of the Arctic.
