TPP Without Canada

Grassy, US isn't part of TPP so it won't be milk from the US coming in. More like New Zealand or Australia.

Semantics - Canada and the US were part of it when this was negotiated so presumably you were ok with rBST produced milk.

If every industry operated on the backs of consumers and at the expense of everyone else like they do Canada would be broke overnight.

Yeah, it could never work if the farmer gets paid the cost of his production for his produce directly by the consumer. Crazy talk.

Can't believe you all want to hand Canadian political and trade sovereignty over to trans-national corporations. As an example why do you want Canada to be prohibited from making the decision to source wheat for the bread the Canadian forces eat from only Canadian sources?

Grass maybe in Scotland protectionism works. Doesn't work here we are an exporting country without exports Canada as we know it is done.

Grass simple question if we put all of agriculture in Canada under a supply managed system with no exports and an inflated price what would the economy look like? yes it would be great margin for the few acres of wheat you were allowed to sell or the 5 cows they would let you butcher.
