        Do they just live off the plant matter for moisture? All our snails here would dry out and die fast in a crop field. They live in springs, creeks and wet spots.

          Is that a type of thistle sprayed with a phenoxy that those snails are congregating on?

          Do they affect the crop yield or are they only a problem when they're in the harvested grain?

              Are they edible? Butter and garlic? Maybe they are worth more than the crop?
