The Year in Politics....with Sask's retiring Premier Wall.

I still think Sask is losing one of the most common sense Premiers we've ever had.

Or am I that gullible, bucket?

Was he screwed over by an old Divine crony?
Is it his fault resource revenue took such a hit?
I think they could still win the next election with him as leader.
    A real Saskatchewan advocate.
Says pot legalization isn't a priority to them....Federal force feeding.
Stadium, Bypasses(what's a life worth!!!!), GTH.

If he would have cleaned house(got rid of Cabinet garbage), been more prudent, etc...... regardless! I'd still support him.....there's something about the guy. No one will be like him.....some of you may be thanking God.

    You are that gullible. ...

    He's a young man yet....really accomplished nothing....

He could have put in 4 more years to correct the ship if he could. ...but look at his latest thing about plates....

The fact he wouldn't come clean on the GTH points to lack of knowledge or he's hiding something...

Much like his federal counterpart ...the new leader won't have the skills to gain the trust of the population other than count on a stupid electorate.....

None of the candidates have policy....

he was[politically correct enough for a conservative that wanted to survive in sask.
        I will give him that.
he played it well for the most part.

pretty easy with a flush bank account and commodity boom times.
( thanks to NDP potash royalties)

even I could run the place .

he did have a nice way about him. his PR was real good

not fair, to say what my sis who taught him in high school thought.
lets just say he turned out like expected

the proudest moment was when our premier blocked the sale of potash company .

not that I think he turned into a socialist,
just he had the brains to realize , what will the province do without all the royalty money.
it was going to lose. pretty good for a conservative, I think

there was no good capitalist reason to stop the sale. not one

turn socialist for a while and get the feds to stop the sale.
          and protect the province.

all you guys that love to kick Blakeny around , but none of those $ would have ever been around without him.

Before any judgement at all can be made have to see what his roll was in the land scandals. GTH ag capital by passes stadiums closed hospitals Billy's deals Chinese immigrants paid off who? Oil shares given and then what deals did they get. etc etc. The reason we don t know is he s been avoiding letting out the facts. Which speaks volumes for itself. And really makes a mockery of our investigation system. Any everyday citizen would have been put through the ringer long time ago.

Any fool could have ran things with 100 oil and since he couldn't without he pretty much was that fool. Now all we have to see is how much of a crook was he?
Oil is still in control of the province evident by the party not allowing a clean house which would reveal who's been on the payroll no outside leader. And another puppet waiting in the wings obviously to cover all the shit up. Even cheating the other candidates. Hahahaha

Anyone who had to try crossing the #1 highway to get onto the #46 hauling grain to Viterra at Balgonie will sure appreciate the overpass there.
Anyone who tries to get off the 48 highway onto #1 will appreciate that overpass.
I can't speak much for the rest of them but those two are huge to us. Pilot Butte turn off was like playing Russian Roulette. .....too many people died at that intersection. I realize traffic lights and reduced speeds would have alleviated alot of problems. But these overpasses will smooth out traffic flow.
The door may have been opened a little too wide for tbe OilCos to do business in Sask but we at least have an Industry now.
Even that ****en stadium will cause money to circulate. I wonder how much money gets circulated with one home game. Food, hotels, liquor, gas, and then the cash spent at the stadium. Maybe some bigger shows/acts will stop in Sask if there is a venue available. The GTH is a cluster****.....but people pointed out Chinese investment in other countries and somehow if they invest in our infrastructure its no good?

I've also said it before that a monkey could have run the province during the good times and now wish he'd stay to prove his capabilities in tough times. That would be the real test. What are our alternatives? We know BOTH devils....now just which is the lesser of two evils.

It would never matter who is in power. ...there are always critics...THANK GOD! Critical thinkers promote accountability. I've done a bit of criticizing myself..... no one is perfect.

All the comics don’t realize how shitty the Regina by pass was before. Each week their was a accident at balgonie or white city or pilot butte it was a normal commute now truck traffic will flow and accidents will be way lower and probably no more deaths.

But to the NDP crowd deaths don’t matter it’s some nuns lost money by a land flipper.

NDP want every thing in their control. Ask your self this who elects them the unions yet rural NDP actually think they will look after them. Ha as soon as the unions get control of sask well be back to the old ways Regina Saskatoon and close the rest.

The NDP is the devil that destroyed sask and we better not go back that way again. Look at Alberta one term and it’s hooped. Manitoba under years of NDP did so well yea 30plus billion and rising with a A rating and dropping.

NDP is the answer for what not to do, not what to do. Never again.

                    This is a simple question.....

Who allowed the development to the highway without a plan for increased traffic?

The Cloverleaf has to be the simplest design to ensure traffic flow....

Swift Current has grown but there are no lights on the number 1 hiway thru the city ....and traffic flows well even with the additional businesses.....

Highway 4 they ****ed up on but the fixes wouldn't require overpasses. .....

Swift is simple you pull off into city and then pull back on so simple Regina was a shit show bedroom communities the size of swift trying to get on and off the number one with lights.

Every second or third day their was a accident between Regina and balgonie and lots died. So yea it was needed. Winnipeg did it the best way way way before. Regina needed to do that back then but we had fairy dust NDPs running the show where why build it they will then come and we want to be a have not province.

But how long before they need to go out another 20 miles or when does the city of Regina ask for a new airport because the planners built a growing city around a small airport??????

Still shaking my head at decision on Alberta license plates at Saskatchewan job sites.
Reported in both New York Times and Economist magazine.
Good question for leadership candidates whether govt should backtrack.
