Looks like 4 more years of the Big Dyke in Toronto

Pretty suspicious timing and with managers stepping down without anything proven.

Don't know anything about the guy, timing seems suspicious. He is either guilty and his career is destroyed or he is a victim of political meddling and his career is destroyed. Everyone around him is running cause they know he's done either way and they don't want to go down with him. Pretty sad state of affairs of our judicial system / public judgement. (not that I condone any inappropriate behaviour)

Either way don't look good for him and also don't look good for Ontario.

How long ago? Did the "Me Too" movement spark this? If it's true, deal with the problem. If it's political hay making, what level have we sunk to?

Does any person(gender neutral) want to take the chance and make any sexual advances? Consensual sex can even be turned into **** with enough hate and spite, or an agenda to get even or destroy someone's life and credibility. I think the pendulum will swing too far! Make everyone sign a contract...cold shower? Anyone?

I know absolutely nothing about this situation characters. But I must say it sure would be easy to destroy someone politically and otherwise now days. As pretty much he is being assumed guilty even without a trial etc. But what would a person do? If you step down obviously your done if you don't your done until totally proved otherwise and that's not easy to do either unless someone confesses to doing some sort of conspiracy plan.

Why is it always assumed or taken for granted the Penetrater is always the perpetrator? How many people(women included) abused their power with sex to advance or retard someone's(even men) career. And just as corrupt, how many people have offered sexual favors to authority to advance their own careers? How many of those teases can then claim sexual abuse....what a "****ing" mess.

The only relevant question is: how long before morontario's gargantuan DEBT comes and gets the rest of us. Separation now.

Its politics and its really dirty. The liberals are going down in Ontario and they are desperate. Why not where else can a total flunky make really good money doing nothing and have private car etc. Its a great gig.

But the other thing is he wasn't that popular to win big. He would win but needed a bigger win.

So it could be both sides trying to take him out.

But this new thing with Me Now is a great way to kill any ones political Carrier. Because the Media loves shit like this and the witnesses can cry and say they did this or that happened to them and two years later after the guy or Girl is destroyed politically they say they were lying and its all done.

Sick society but thats what we have.

Politics is dirty and i believe its full on press out in Ontario.

Moral bankruptcy of politicians. What used to be swept under the rug has now become an open secret. Why would you run if you had these skeletons? It seems only Trump can get away with sexual assault. It is too bad the cons did not vet him better. Ontario needs a shake-up from years of mis -management.

Vet all you want....groundless slanderous accusations can trump the truth, but in the meantime.....

Even if you didn't have "these skeletons" in your closet, you are a target because people can make false accusations, you are judged in the court of public opinion, and the accusers are not prosecuted for the false accusations. Sad but true. The dark side of human nature usually wins.

If you were a genuine sexual predator, you deserve the full brunt of the law, but to be accused of some slight impropriety going back several years, maybe something you said, seems totally unfair.

What is your definition of a slight impropriety? What may have been overlooked 10 years ago is not acceptable now. What advantage is gained by these people coming forward now? Get over it ,reality bites.

There's no excuse for sexual abuse. If Patrick really is dirty then he had to go. I agree that the timing is suspicious but I don't agree that it is necessarily fatal. If the Conservative Party manages this well, moves quickly into a leadership campaign with some strong candidates and builds momentum into the election it could all turn out very well. It is only a victory for the Whiner if the Cons mismanage it. This can be spun positively and I don't think Brown was that strong a candidate to begin with. It all depends what happens in the next 2 or 3 days.

somehow maybe the laws have to change to reflect this is such a. Wide spread problem. If you come forward and apologize and admit then not as much punishment but if you don't come forward double the punishment.
If you make an allegation that is false you get the same as the double punishment

Something has to be done to deal with all the past things coming out daily.
