A good deal by all accounts - a hand well played by holding back in the previous round and gaining concessions for Canada as a result. If you believe that global trade agreements are good for trade and good for participating countries then you must acknowledge Trudeau as the winner here - and Trump the loser. Or you can just keep lying to yourself.

Look above I said he got us a deal. Seems bad for auto and chicken farmers he left in some stuff the USA just wanted but if your stoned most of the day who reads documents. He did have nice ducky socks on stage today.

He’s still a loser but yes he got one thing done.

Ok he showed up and signed it.

Haven't heard much on details just that it got signed. Grassfarmer what concessions got included in the deal that was a direct result of Trudeau forgetting to show up a couple months ago? And what got left out because we weren't at the table?

The two important concessions gained are apparently regarding intellectual property rights around drugs (suspension of rules that would have extended copyright protection) and suspension of rules that would have allowed foreign investors to sue the Canadian Government if things don't pan out for them. I haven't read the details either but these are two of the concessions claimed as a result of holding off agreeing earlier.

This scandal smells like a Wynne/CTV setup or a he’s guilty. With 5 months to go considering how unpopular Wynne is there is time to get a replacement and still win.

On a separate topic Kent Hehr, the Federal minister of sport is being charged with sexual harassment. We’ll see if the feminist Sockboy gives him the boot.
turdo has set the bar so high that if any male liberal mps are even accused of improprieties, he has no choice but to boot them out without hesitation. this could get interesting.

              Where did you read this?

It would be a welcome development but I don't believe any politicians in this country have the foresight... especially since we left the dairy concessions in the agreement (you know, the one's America wanted... before they dropped out of the agreement).

It was in a Globe and Mail article and these claims were made by a spokesman for the Government. It does look encouraging but the devil is in the detail with these kind of agreements.

Just got the call i guess Saskatoon got a nice dump of snow, well at least in the City. We have maybe a inch in Regina no half the neighbour is using a blower to clean his driveway. Across the valley looks more.

Barely enough to sweep east side of Regina. Walked for coffee, street blown clear. No snow in Le Macaroon parking lot. (My Regina coffee shop)
