I noticed the other day on ETG commodities bid sheet that they specifically stated that they do not charge a handling fee. Hopefully other pulse companies will follow suit.

a cleaning plant probably knows from experience what their % losses will be on net, cleaned grain, so why not be transparent and factor this cost in the bid price and pay the farmer on the true net tonnes ? Or is this just a way to make the bid price look better than it actually is?
