As you know gone from bto back normal size operation family farm.

Kinda got a blank sheet for machinery no trades to worry about except a sprayer. Looking at a new miller or rogator.

Anyway my first big ticket item is a seeding tractor have a modest programme of 2100 ha wheat barly canola and 500 ha vetch oats and feed for stock So 2600 it is, at this stage.

Tractor im looking at but havent eyeballed yet is 9530 jd with 2900 hours on it. 2011 build.
Anything to look for and ive never owned jd so is it correct i have to use jd filters jd oil etc etc kind of a closed loop? Oil surely not!!

Then looking at 60ft seedhawk second hand or 56 ft morris c2 second hand. seed hawk and morris i think both 2010 build.

Gotta start somewere get 2 years under my belt with these cracking high grain prices then i may upgrade.

plus 1250 merino ewes 1200 8mth old wethers and ewes as well. Would love another 500 ewes but steady as she goes

Don't buy a John deere if it has an Donaldson filter that is oval in shape with a flat face filter area ....it's ****ing garbage.

The older style round filter with the bottom rubber squeeze dust grommet have better capacity and have simply more filter area.

will eye ball it when it arrives at dealers as to wether i purchase it or not but i would say there 60%

Dealers always rate high. Unless you can run em bald Done at %25
So 60% 2/3 done.
Are they R1s or R1Ws?
Check your beads for any wear or damage too. Power plus weight something slips. Sometimes bead depending on application. Ask your tire guy.
Assess your requirements of course as well. Also make damn sure weight ratios done right.
