Point being news reporters are supposed to report news. They are not supposed to start out with an agenda then stage events to promote that agenda and claim it's news.
Case in point this Southern character going to another country and into an area with pre-existing racial tensions and handing out flyers proclaiming "Allah is a gay god" no doubt hoping someone would hit her or start a fight at which point she would claim muslims are violent attackers.
