And risk cutting into big Pharma profits? Kickback to the prescribing Dr? Give the patient what they want and they'll be sure to come back .... I'm told the local dentists have black flags for certain patients that come on orders from the board as repeat solicitors for opiods but why not prescribe T3 or Advil. The belief life is painless is ridiculous. On the weed, well the job as a parent just got more difficult. One of the parents on my son's hockey team is rcmp and he said most breakin s go direct to the medicine cabinet. This is a huge issue and govt has no issue with lobbyists on behalf of drug co ..... I don't know the solution other then be the best damn parent you can be and get involved in their lives as much as possible. Maybe we need to pay full bore for healthcare?

Booze is way worse always has been .
never had to break up a fight between stoned people .
never saw a stoned girl beat on a cop.
I think that may have been a reason for not legalizing pot years ago. People will buy less booze, less provincial taxes. Booze has destroyed so many people and families. People say, “yeh, but Marijuana leads to escalating harder drug useâ€. Gotta say booze escalates also - occasional beer to binge drinking - harder liquor - solvents.

Has a helmet law, or a seat belt law, or driving under the influence law, really saved the life of anyone who goes out of the way to take unnecessary chances? And, isn't that what you are doing when you purchase street drugs?
I believe the smart person is going to figure it out, really, really quick, without the law, and the stupid person is going to have a difficult time surviving. Thank you, pharma, for the selection quote. It applies.
There can not be enough fentanyl deaths yet to pause the stupid people in our society. To that I say fentanyl strength needs to be raised to 100% effectiveness.

What's changed besides the law? Are users magically no longer a risk to their fellow workers? Hypocrites!
Klausterphobia.....you ever been piss tested? What's the new rules going forward going to be?

The same could be said for alcohol. Ever heroin addict had a beer first. Alcohol is more of a gateway drug than cannabis in my option. Enough hypocrisy if your going to condem cannabis you better not be a drinker.
We just spent decades trying to wean the public off tobacco, now it's ok to smoke pot, ya ya I know, no comparison right? But still seems a bit hypocritical to me.Last edited by farmaholic; Mar 18, 2018, 07:46.
