    Elections voting democracy?

Lots of discussion currently about merits of third parties help or hinderance. We had anew major 3rd party thinh they scored 14% of vote if they were not there conservatives would have had a alndslide.

Let's say you have 3 candidates or Parties. And the vote fell as 40% for Party A,......... 35 % for Party B and 25 % for Party C. Many would say Party A is the clear winner with 40% where Party B has 35%, and Party C has 25%. BUT 60 % didn't want Party A, and so voted for one of either B or C.

But can be turned around , how are figures interpreted 75% didnt want party c and 65% didnt want b.Can of worms.

Winston Churchill is credited with saying about democracy in general, that it "... is the worst system there is......except for any other.."

Or the Putin system where you don't allow any credible opposition candidates to run - lock them up or kill them. I wonder if Trump returned the favour and voted for Putin?
