That's the God's honest truth! 4000 super b's in downtown Vancouver or the threat of, might be what's needed. Create a massive cluster.....
Wow 4000 super B’s holding up traffic in the mountains and Vancouver would really be over the top and definitely would send a message that we are over shitty rail service....but it may not last....didn’t someone go on ahunger strike over rail or was that the CWB?
I’ve got 4 supers....are we going to take wheat or canola? Lol...Gotta think that 4000 farmers trucks would gather a lot of attention....it would be a fun trip...let’s go in the summer...the mountains are a little scary with a set of trains in the winter for my average flatlander drivers haha.

4000 x 43 MT = 172,000 metric tonnes....holy shit MacDon I think you are on to something...that’s a pile of grain moved in a 48 hour period!! That’s a couple Panamax shiploads or $85 million of canola. That would be a history making operation. I think you better stike up a committee and get this planned.

Ok.....a one-off event may open eyes and draw attention to the matter but a permanent solution it is not......

Go for it, you have my support. We only have a tridem.

to bad Canada is so stupid having Americans in control of railways Hunter Harrison may u rot in hell for destroying Canada railways. the USA must laugh every day and the world that we are not smart enough to put in pipe lines and twin all rail across Canada .we need all products taken to the west or east not just grain! the main rails seem very busy to me and just can't keep up Christ there a train going by every half hour !

In today's society, I'm betting the ceo's of the railways are banking on the farmer playing the role of the victim. It's to easy to sit back and scream. Lot tougher to make shit happen then wonder what happened.

When Jack Turvey had to show the value of ipsco to Regina ....he hatched a plan to pay everyone in 2 dollar bills.....

Farmers have to find an innovative way to show our importantance to the nation....

My vote is we take a year off....

No one wants our product and apparently no one wants to move it.

Domestically in Western Canada there would be waves... Tsunami waves! Internationally, in some grain markets, barely a ripple!

Railways would be hurt with little to no western grain.....

Although trucking would prove 2 points....the highway infrastructure and the fact railways are not the only option.

...should be but no politician can ask why they continued to consolidate their pulling power with higher trend line exports of all products....

Why western grain , potash and oil are not in the same room is beyond me.

Park a semi in front of every MP’s house for weeks and all around parliament with the hoods up until the rail thing gets straightened out. When settling the country, railways were given all of their land for the promise to move grain and resources. Now not fulfilling- kick them out and nationalize or this country is toast.
