I would be willing to bet this is one of the coldest winters in our history .Check out the nightime -20 temps for end of March . I know , its just weather , but recently in Toronto they were spouting about the proof of global warming after 4 above average warm days

Unofficially it might go down as the 4th coldest February and the seventh coldest Nov-Feb period since 1979

But officially it will go down as the warmest winter ever. Just watch.

Case, you should have shown the 14 day. Not a single above zero high up to the 7th of April. That is actually a mite scary with the snow we have here, no?

2013 was the March we had below -30 here.

That’s also the year it flooded when it finally warmed up. Could be heading for similar conditions this year if the snow doesn’t start melting before the rain gets here in force.

Worried here too east of Edmonton. I have never ever seen spring snow fall on old snow before. Last year there was no snow at the end of March before the April snows started and it was a crappy year. Seed in mud and the crop is a dud. Looking at a late spring again so it better be dry because will not have time to get all the work done if there are any delays.

When they talk about global warming temp change it is full year average. We have had more snow, more cold and less Chinook days than I ever remember this winter but on the flip side we had the hottest summer and fall last year too so maybe the average is just normal??

Shh, shh you're not allowed to talk any common sense around here. To further the dumb agenda you only count the odd cold day - not the warm ones and you're never allowed to use an average to establish a trend - that would defeat the purpose.

Just give them time. They are frantically trying to figure out how to spin it and taxes on global cooling. Someone has to pay for this weather change. Too bad they wouldn’t figure out that the weather always changes. Not our fault we don’t control the sun.

Going to be a cool easter weekend for sure.

Snow melted yesterday a bit and then tried again last night to snow.

                            ah winter.

some years the trees didnt produce leaves till june.

                            Its weather boys.

Certainly was not the hottest summer around here last year, wheat graded feed on account of frost damage. Was looking for some warm weather at the end of summer to get some stuff that had flooded and regrew to mature and it was hazy on account of humidity and smoke every day so did not mature the crop.
